The ring and the balsam
Cut balsam into pieces about as long as your hand. Wire three or four stems together at the cut end onto the ring. That is how to make door wreath with the ring in your hand.
Around the ring
How do you make a door wreath from those bunches? Lay the first bunch on a metal ring. Wrap the wire around the stems and the ring. Lay the next bunch over the stems you just tied. Keep going until the ring is covered and the stems are hidden. Altrenate for a double sided Rockdale wreath.
A diy door wreath uses that same ring and those same bunches. If a spot looks thin, add one more bunch there.
Pine cones and a bow
Wire a few pine cones into the greens where you want them. Add the bow last so it does not get crushed while you turn the ring.
