It rewards people for their work in a very definite way, and puts something material in their hands that they can share with others. So our philosophy is very simple really, it’s always the right decision to give back to the ones that help make you successful. We try to make our fundraiser program simple and rewarding.

Of course you can pick fresh baslam anytime, but if you want it to last, the time of the year is important. Depending on your climate, it is best to watch the calender and your weather channel. The balsam lasts when the tempature has dropped and the needs of the balsam has set. This happpens around November, the 5th in the northeast and later as your travel south. A good rule of thumb, if your not getting frost, then it’s not time. Once you have decided to go out and get your tips, only break from the elbow to your hand. This does not hurt a mature tree and after a year the tree will grow even fuller. break the branches into hands and prepare your base. A foam base works best for holding your material. Also you may want to hot glue your foam into a bowl or plastic dish. start from the middle and work your way out keeping your longer pieces pointed out. add a few colorful decorations and candles and you have made a nice center piece for your home.

The most important thing to remember is value, most people want to see value in anything they buy. A fundraiser is always a charitable thing to participate in, but people, even friends and family like to feel that they are not only giving, but getting. Obviously a holiday wreath does both and so much more. Most fundraisers offers a person a chance to help out the organization by buying some overpriced product, and they get a little something in return. A Wreath Fundraising event offers an individual a chance to give to charity, give a gift to friend and feel good about the product that they are buying. It is so much more, now they have given money to help a friend or a loved one , helped a charity and given a gift to a friend or family they most likely would have done anyway. This holiday tradition is a winner. Put a smile on your face with this winning combination.

Start with the strengths of your product, like drop shipping to your door.

I’m not complaining but I hate saying no to the schools that come late. I don’t want to run short on deliveries or worse be late. I just can’t see how anyone in the wreath business would risk taking on way too much. A notice to participate is important. Without a limit a chance is being taken that may lead to a black eye on all those who have been relying on a Christmas wreath company to deliver. Well we have tried to think of everything from advanced ordering system to the simplest concept like ” notice to participate”, which asks easy questions, like how many people do you expect to be selling in your group and what is your goal. Commmunication is key is getting wreaths out on time. It’s important to tell your people what you need to do and keep them updated on your progress. It’s almost that simple. If you have any feelings on this , please comment. We would love to hear from you.

Each year we make advances in our site in an attempt to make your life, the user more organized. Well, it does help us too…. This year we have created a way to quickly add users in an organized fashion. This is done by creating a hierarchy and a way to email a link that will bring each new participant to a registration page. In this way each order taker will be accounted for under an overseer of his/her group. As an order taker, each order will have a check box to mark that you have received the money from your customer. You will then pass the monies to your leader and they will acknowledge that you gave them money
and they received it. Of course this happens all the way up the chain until we receive the monies here and we release the order for shipment.

It’s simple, easy and organized.

I hope this will help you in your fundraising mission.
Happy fundraising

with those things knocking at your doors, the time for decoration with live
Christmas wreaths are also in the air. With Christmas wreaths, the mood of
the season remains jolly.
One of the most perfect Christmas accessories are live Christmas wreaths.
Not only do they act as just door wreaths alone but great centerpieces as
well. Live succulents would last longer than expected and perfect materials
for the live Christmas wreaths. The secret is just proper care with pruning
and watering. But if the main thought is for live Christmas wreaths, the
seasonal flowers are priority.
There are a two of different types of Christmas wreaths, both of which can
be made as a live Christmas wreath. There are two types of Christmas wreaths
that hold different meanings. The traditional Christmas wreath is the advent
wreath and the second type is the more decorative and craft inspired
wreaths.
A live Christmas wreath is a beautiful way to bring the smells of the
outdoors to your home. Since Christmas wreaths have different meanings
across different parts of the world, using a live Christmas wreath will be a
beautiful accessory to your home. Wreaths have many meanings and hanging a
door wreath is not exception. In ancient times, many Romans would hang
wreaths in honor and celebration of a victory. Other meaning for the live
Christmas wreath is love and family.
To make a live Christmas wreath you will need some supplies and tools to
help you create a beautiful live Christmas wreath. You will need to first
decide what type of Christmas wreath you want to make. If you are making the
advent wreath you will need four or five candles. If you choose to make a
more decorative wreath, you will need whatever supplies you need for the
look you are going for.
You will need to have pine or cedar boughs, sometimes ivy works well to, to
create the wreath itself. You can purchase these are a local follower shop
or online. Sometimes your local craft shop will have a selection of live and
silk products during the holiday season. You will also need either a foam
circle or wire circle to use as your base when wrapping the wreath. Choosing
the decorations for you live Christmas wreath will depend on what you want.
Using live flowers, berries and plants will bring a great aroma to your
home.
Creating a live Christmas wreath will bring the family together and you can
create your own tradition and meaning for the wreath. Since the wreath to
most of us symbolizes love and family, what better way to celebrate the
making of the live Christmas wreath than by making it with your family?
If you are going to create an advent wreath, you should discuss the meaning
of the advent wreath with your family while you are making it. This will
create a special family moment during the holiday. We all could use more
special family moments, so why not make creating a live Christmas wreath a
special moment.
You can also purchase live Christmas wreaths at many stores, flower shops
and online. Depending on what you are looking for or if you want something
specially made will depend on where you go to buy your live Christmas
wreath. Many times you can also purchase live Christmas wreaths from
students who are selling them for a fundraiser at school or for a particular
charity. “Tis the season.”
There are a lot of web sites that offer immense types and designs of live
Christmas wreaths. You may also try reading reviews about live Christmas
wreaths for the best picks.

Michael http://www.rockdalewreaths.com <![CDATA[General History of Wreaths]]> http://www.rockdalewreaths.com/blog/index.php/2007/08/27/history-of-wreaths/ 2007-08-28T01:25:50Z 2007-08-28T01:25:50Z Those of you whom have seen an artist’s impression of Julius Caesar might
just have a fair idea of the ‘wreath’. Caesar’s head was adorned with a
crown of laurel leaves, which was essentially a wreath. A wreath is a
collection of flowers, leaves and at times fruits arranged to form a ring.
Wreaths are generally used as wall or door hangings, ornaments or just
showpieces.
The history of wreaths goes back a long way and most of it relates to
ancient religious associations. The age-old Persian culture is replete with
the development of wreaths and their significance. The original
manifestation of wreaths was in the form of a circlet, commonly called a
‘diadem’. These were usually made from fabrics and jewels used to decorate
the fabric in order to further enhance its beauty. Wreaths assumed paramount
importance at the beginning of 776 B.C. when winners of the Olympic Games,
in Greece, were presented wreaths that were made of laurel leaves. Over a
period of time, when the Games were hosted by different cities, the wreaths
were made, using the branches of trees locally available.
The transition of wreath from an ornament that adorned the head to something
that is now used as a wall decoration is seeped in mystery. Some historians
suggest that the reason for this occurrence could be that the winners
started hanging their wreaths on the walls of their houses, as reminders of
their glory. Contemporary wreaths are not just used during the Christmas
season but are also used for various occasions throughout the year. Each
season finds a new innovative design and decoration in accord with each
occasion and festive season. The wreath is a symbol of power, festivity,
remembrance and respect. One of the loveliest wreaths is the advent wreath.
However, its real origins are shrouded in the mists of time; many believe
that the Swedish Crown of Lights was the source of inspiration for the
Advent wreath. The Swedish Crown of Lights is a crown that bears candles and
is worn on St. Lucia’s Day by Swedish girls.
People have had an abiding fascination for wreaths throughout history. The
phrase ‘earn your laurels’, comes from the significant importance that
wreaths have had throughout history. In the bygone eras wreaths represented
athletic ability and military astuteness. In the modern times, you can find
wreaths just about everywhere. Today, a wreath is a symbol of eternity. It
is therefore an important part of decoration on funerals, and weddings. It
can also be found on coins, and weddings.
Wreaths generally give out a ‘cheery feeling’. Moreover, the historical
materials used for making wreaths have given way to just any kind of
materials. Anybody fond of designing can use the wreath to practice his or
her hobby. As can be seen, wreaths have found a mention in various
historical instances. They have been there through the dawn of civilization
and have lost none of their importance in the contemporary era. Wreaths are
destined to be an integral decorative part of a host of celebrations in the
future, as well.

Michael http://www.rockdalewreaths.com <![CDATA[A Corporate Gift]]> http://www.rockdalewreaths.com/blog/index.php/2007/08/27/corporate-gift-wreaths/ 2007-08-28T00:33:52Z 2007-08-28T00:33:52Z Wreaths are a great way to send a warm message from your company. This is a
great way to build bridges in the corporate world. You may want to put one
in your own office. A wreath looks good on the main office door or you could
put one on your own door. Give a wreath as a corporate gift to your clients who keep you in business. They would surely appreciate a warm gesture of gratitude from a company who cares. You may also want to give these corporate gift wreaths to the friends and families of the employees who work for the firm. Send a message to them so they know the employees in the firm are appeciated and have a great place to work.
Warm up a day at the office with your corporate wreath. It won’t be the
usual day at the office. You’re not constantly bustling in and out of your
office trying to meet deadlines left and right. You’re not about to have
another speedy take-out lunch when you transfer from endless meetings to
meetings. You’re not about to be screamed at by your boss who thinks your
work is a piece of junk. Instead, with a wreath somewhere in the workplace,
you are drawn to look at it and contemplate about warm feelings in the
middle of the day. The wreath is there to make you stop and pause for a
while. It is there to make you realize that there is warmth in the world. It
makes you realize that living on this planet is not all about work. Living
on this planet is also about friendship, belongingness, sharing, community,
and all the mushy stuff that goes with it. Your office will never be the
same with a wreath around.
Send over a corporate gift wreath to your clients. Business to business
relationships can improve through simple gestures like this. Make your
client know that you care. Customer is not only king but also a king that is
loved and cared for by his people! Make them know that your firm is a firm
that isn’t just about business. Send a message to them. Let them know that
you value them more than the daily transactions that take place everyday.
Put a smile on their face. You might even get an extra deal or two this way!
Include corporate gift wreaths in your company gift list. Employees in the
firm love taking home stuff like this after a day’s work. Their friends and
family will surely appreciate a warm gesture like this. Let the loved ones
of your employees know that the office they work for is not all about work.
Let them know that the company they work for also cares about the small
stuff. Let them know that when the employees are in the office, they aren’t
simply being abused or tortured by the demands of their employers. Send a
warm gesture to their homes and put a smile on the face of your employees
and the people they value. This will surely improve employee morale and job
satisfaction.
